Allen Celebrity Reader

Thank you so much to Ms. Louise Master for being our Allen Celebrity Reader today.  Ms. Master is an Allen ISD Board of Trustee.  She read the book "My Dog Thinks I'm a Genius" by Harriet Ziefert.  This book is part of the Allen Reads 2012-2013 Reading Selection.

The Mitten

I hope everyone enjoyed the snow this morning!  The kids were very disappointed when they looked out the window after music and it had all melted!  Many of them had planned to build a snowman after school today! :)

Today we read one of my favorite books, The Mitten, by Jan Brett.
"A butterfly crawled into the mitten."
